Those of you that feel as I do will want to help us to keep the music in circulation. The best way is to help to spread the music to those who will appreciate and will pass on to others that we have not forgotten the paths we traveled together. Not only are these snapshots of our past - but also glimpses of our possible futures. We can come together to lay a foundation for our children's children.

In order to keep this music on the air and in the music outlets we are starting the Planet Earth Rock and Roll Preservation Society. Our goal is to make the Society self funding through sales of these recordings and other recordings from the PERRO extended family. We are going to need to raise about $12, 000 to transfer the ownership of the web site and licenses to the Society. My idea is to have 100 Founders that will contribute $120 to get this started. In return, each donor will receive about just over $200 in merchandise to distribute as they see fit.

We will have virtual online meetings and may work on all sorts of projects. Our main goal will be to set up a non profit organization that will continue to promote and distribute the music of the Planet Earth Rock and Roll Family through our web site and through National Public Radio/Public Radio. A portion of the profits will go to the Society to fund (or partially fund) an office/headquarters with the balance to be distributed to the artists and any other legal obligations. Once the Society is formed we will put together a Charter and more properly define our Mission and future endeavors. We will also help our much valued Public Radio Station Fund Drives when called on.
